Hand Drumming


I've been involved in African hand drumming and percussion for the past nine years, playing in a performance group and teaching on a regular basis.


I currently perform with Trevor Ault in our group 'Conundrum' - I'll make a note here if we've any gigs coming up ...


I hold a variety of drumming classes, both Ghanaian and Guinean (see below), do please contact me on jane@janejennifer.co.uk if you're interested in any of them.

Beginners are welcome to attend both beginners and full class sessions.

one rhythm, four - six sessions:

working on a Guinean rhythm with djembé and duns parts covering technique, pulse work, notation, soloing and breaks.
